Annual exhibit & dinner party
Dinner Party with Margot Lee Shetterly, author of Hidden Figures, NASA Apollo mission pioneeer Poppy Northcutt, nuclear energy leaer Rumina Velshi, AstraZeneca CFO's Aradhana Sarin and Merve.
Every year: 10 'patrons' sponsor 10 GW portraits, and the portraits are revealed' at a gallery show and exhibit in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Each year, that portrait show at The Prow Gallery in Halifax is followed by a dinner party for portrait and project patrons at a fancy nearby restaurant on Halifax waterfront.
This portrait project campaign runs for 10 years, enabling: a) women leaders in STEM to honor - collectively - in minimum of 100 'hidden' GW of STEM; b) creaes a new kind of connected commuinity of STME women ie a diverse group of female STEM industry leaders to get to know each other and to build awareness of Halifax/Nova Scotia as a potential business-development destination;
A "set" of AI-generated speaking portraits will be created each year for project patrons to share with employees, that are designed for Grade 6 classes as STEM education content (tested at schools in Hfx. Grammar School interested in being Education Sponsor for project. I'm presenting to faculty and parents April 230 - have already tested in a few classes and teachers/students enthusiastic about them.) and - a la The Rumina Effect - prints will be created of GW portraits and print purchasers encouarged to posted on social media same day as exhibit event/dinner party.
